Crazy - Hammered Dulcimer Workshop

This song, written by Willie Nelson, was made famous by Patsy Cline in 1962.  It’s a great tune to play on hammered dulcimer and one that audiences always recognize.  It is not super-easy, but this tune forces players to move “outside the box” and allows for lots of creativity. We will start with the basic melody and begin learning how to fill in the spaces with ornamentation.  This is a good tune for learning and implementing chromatic, blues runs, which we will try to dive into during the workshop.
